The Huizhou Data Centre is a greenfield purpose-built colocation data centre strategically located in the Tonghu Smart City in Huizhou, Guangdong Province. This is part of Southern China’s Greater Bay Area, an up-and-coming high-tech hub.
With a total development potential of 1,024,900 sq ft, the data centre in Huizhou holds the China Data Centre Class A GB-standard equivalent specifications. Keppel Data Centres is collaborating with a local data centre operator, Shenzhen Huateng Smart Technology Co, Ltd (Huateng Co.), to implement global best practices for data centre operations in this data centre.
The project is currently operational — its first phase with Gross Floor Area of 486,700 sq ft was delivered in 2022, offering more than 6,000 high-density racks for hyperscale cloud companies and digital businesses.
