INDONESIA | Steady Progress on IndoKeppel DC 1
The Salim Group and Keppel Data Centres are jointly developing a data centre campus in Bogor, Greater Jakarta.
Located about 35km distance from Jakarta, IndoKeppel Data Centre 1 (IKDC1) is a colocation data centre campus development in Bogor, Greater Jakarta, Indonesia. The project brings together the expertise of local Indonesian conglomerate Salim Group and Keppel Data Centres to jointly develop and operate the high-availability carrier-neutral data centre.
IKDC1 will be developed over three phases in a 7-hectare data centre campus and will feature a Gross Floor Area of approximately 105,300 sq ft in its first phase. The project will deliver 4.5 MW IT load capacity in Phase 1, with power and land available to scale to over 40 MW on the campus. The modular design is well-suited for hyperscale cloud companies and digital businesses to scale up their IT infrastructure effectively.

Against the backdrop of the COVID-19 situation, there has been steady progress on the construction of the data centre. The project has achieved more than one million work hours and recorded zero lost-time incidents. The facility is on track for operational delivery in 1H 2021.
